Opening Rituals
The session commenced with religious recitations and the national anthem.
Fateha was offered for the martyred individuals, including military personnel, workers in Balochistan, children, and a policeman affected by terrorism, along with tributes to deceased relatives of Assembly members.
Points of Order
Syed Rafiullah urged SIC members to actively participate in the Parliamentary Committee system.
Malik Muhammad Aamir Dogar assured of SIC's participation in upcoming Standing Committees.
Mr. M. Junaid Anwar Chaudhry addressed the need for resolving internal matters regarding the election of Standing Committees, prompting the Speaker to hint at possible elections if unresolved.
Questions
Questions 186, 188, 189, 191, 192, 193, 195, and 196 were addressed.
Mr. Speaker directed Dr. Darshan to inspect the National Assembly dispensary and report findings.

The Deputy Speaker welcomed participants from Mehergarh, a learning center, observing the proceedings.

Calling Attention Notices
1st Notice: Addressed the exclusion of new degree courses from the fee reimbursement scheme for children of federal government employees.
2nd Notice: Focused on the inclusion of National Assembly Members' names on the Exit Control List (ECL), causing public concern.
Introduction of Bills
The Anti-Terrorism (Amendment) Bill, 2024, aimed at amending the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, was introduced by Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Minister for Interior.
Motion of Thanks
Continued discussion on the motion thanking the President for his address on 18th April 2024, moved by Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar.
Additional Points of Order
Syed Rafiullah called for referring lawlessness in Kurram to the Standing Committee on Interior.
Mr. Asad Qaiser and Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Khan raised issues related to misconduct in Adiala Jail and operations in Tirah Orakzai district, respectively.
